The decor at Decimus was absolutely stunning! The attention to detail in the design and furnishings made me feel like I was staying in a luxurious and elegant home. The common areas were spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating areas where I could relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate and feel safe. It was truly a delight to stay in such a beautifully decorated and senior-friendly hotel.
I wish there had been more assistance available for senior guests. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, I found that there were times when I could have benefited from more assistance with my luggage or getting around the property.

Loved the terrace and BBQ area, felt like I was in a fancy garden party. Hiking in the surroundings was a great workout, definitely burned off those extra scones I had!
Oh dear, the nearest airport was so far away, felt like I was trekking through the jungle just to get there.

Sea views that will take your breath away. The moment I stepped onto the balcony, I felt like I was on the deck of a luxurious cruise ship, with the waves crashing below me and the salty breeze in the air. Absolutely stunning!

Oh, how I detest airports! So delightful that this property is close to the chaotic London Gatwick Airport.

My recent stay at the beautiful Decimus Villa was absolutely fantastic! The house is much larger than it appears from the outside, with multiple levels and plenty of space to relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the decor throughout the house was lovely. The kitchen diner was well equipped and the outdoor space, including the terrace and barbecue area, was a great addition. Plus, the house even had sea views from the balcony at the back!
Although there were a few minor drawbacks mentioned in the database reviews, such as the need for mattress replacements in some rooms and the slightly poor lighting in the main bathroom, these were very minor issues that didn't significantly impact our stay. Additionally, the parking situation could be challenging at times, but Angie was able to secure us a parking space upon arrival.

I'm a regular at a place in St Leonards-on-Sea. No regrets. Staff helped with luggage on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, parking, and all amenities I need. Can't wait for Christmas!

The location was great, with easy access to restaurants and the sea. the house itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like a home. the kitchen was well-equipped and there were thoughtful touches such as fresh towels and toiletries provided in the bathrooms. the owner and staff were helpful and gave us tips on places to visit and eat.
The only minor downside was the softness of the double bed, but that may be a matter of personal preference.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The property was incredible, with ample showers, toilets, and beds for our large group. We were pleasantly surprised to find towels, a BBQ, and all the extras we needed like washing liquid and tea towels. The house itself was much larger than expected, with multiple levels and plenty of space to relax. The beds were super comfortable, and the outside area was perfect for enjoying the good weather. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, local shops, and a beautiful park. It was also easy to walk into the nearby town for more attractions and cliff walks. The house was beautifully decorated and felt like a home rather than a rental property. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the thoughtful touch of providing milk, coffee, and Easter eggs for the kids was very much appreciated. The owner and house manager were both extremely helpful and gave us great tips on where to visit and eat. This was truly a mind-blowing experience, and we had a fabulous weekend. Thank you!

We had a great value for our money at Decimus Villa. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a cozy home. The location was fantastic, with sea views and close proximity to restaurants and shops. The staff, especially Angie, were incredibly helpful, providing useful information and making us feel welcome.
The only breakfast option could have been improved with some pepper in the kitchen cupboard.

The room we stayed in was very spacious and had a nice view of the surrounding area. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us some helpful tips on local attractions and restaurants. We also liked that the hotel was in a convenient location, close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
One thing we didn't like was the bed in our room, it was quite soft and uncomfortable.
